Book Cover Project

In high school, our class was assigned a project to design a book cover, with each of us as the author. I chose to create a cover for a story about an underdog boxer who rises to become a world champion. For the design, I used red as the primary color, as it strongly evokes the intensity and energy of boxing. I styled the title so that the letters appeared to be "knocked out," reflecting the theme of the sport. On the back cover, I included an illustration of two boxing gloves hanging at the top of the page, with a boxing ring positioned behind the book's summary to further reinforce the atmosphere of the story.
